Hi, I’m Devlin. I live in Portland, where I help design future products.

I am a UI/UX designer turned web developer with a passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences. I have a proven track record of building comprehensive design systems for SaaS startups and Fortune 500 companies. I implement atomic design principles in all of my projects to ensure long-term scalability. I also specialize in SEO optimization, accessibility compliance, and enhancing user retention through data-driven UX practices.

I graduated from Springboards UI/UX career track, which provided over 700 hours of hands-on course material, guided by industry expert mentors. Throughout this intensive program, I developed a mastery in areas such as information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, persuasive design, and data visualization.

I started my journey becoming a Figma design expert. Soon after I desired to turn my designs into a reality, prompting me to learn HTML, CSS, and JS, followed by the latest web frameworks. Today my technical skills include proficiency in Tailwind, React, and Next.js. Combining my design knowledge with technical skills has given me the keen ability to ensure designs meet technical standards enabling seamless developer handoff. I believe that simple solutions power the best experiences, and I strive to implement this philosophy in all my projects.

When I am not immersed in design and development, you can find me basking in the PNW scenary, tinkering with new technologies, or exploring culinary delights as an amateur foodie.
